I’m Adam Kinsman, a Visual Designer and Creative Strategist specializing in intelligent, timeless, user-centered design solutions for brands and product experiences.
I’m on a mission to provide creative and strategic guidance and solutions to support positive outcomes for businesses seeking to build or elevate their products and brand.
Based in the greater Seattle area, I have worked in many capacities including roles in Brand Strategy and Design, Web Design, Social Media Design, Print Design, UI Design, UX Research, and Art Direction.
I‘m proficient in crafting digital presentations, infographics, swag, event materials, editorial advertisements, logos, brand identity systems, brand guidelines, and illustrations. Additionally, I have experience with video editing, photography, and post-production work.
Background
I have been working in the design industry since 2002 developing a passion for creating engaging designs that incorporate beauty and user-centered scientific thinking. For ten years I led an in-house creative studio and print shop at The Rainier Club, a private club in downtown Seattle, before breaking away for a new adventure to work independently with different creative agencies and business as a freelance designer. Since then, I have been primarily a contractor at Microsoft partnering first for the Office of the CFO and then for Microsoft 365, Security, Teams and Viva Brand Management and Strategy team.

I believe in user-centered design and developing intuitive solutions that resonate with audiences and bottom lines. I advocate for collaborating with kind people, strategic thinking, well thought out goals, having a plan, clean and organized design, and creating inspiring outcomes which propel clients to succeed. I value working with a team that listens, respects others, and encourages contributing unique perspectives. I am a self-starter, personalized, professional, respectful of budget requirements and schedules, and I work hard to achieve excellence on every project.
Beyond the 9 to 5
I have a passion for escaping outdoors to pursue trout, salmon and steelhead with a fly rod and flies I have tied. I also love ripping down single track on my Mountain bike in the summer and carving the slopes on my snowboard in the winter. Other hobbies and interests include photography, hiking, traveling, carpentry, soccer, and spending time with family and friends.
